Kenya will host the first-ever WCF Africa Summit in June 2025 at KICC, Nairobi—attracting 4,500 delegates to boost African trade, innovation, and investment.
Kenya has been selected to host the first-ever World Chambers Federation (WCF) Africa Summit, a flagship global business event scheduled for June 2025 at the iconic Kenyatta International Convention Centre (KICC) in Nairobi.
The announcement, made by the Kenya National Chamber of Commerce and Industry (KNCCI), underscores the country’s rising profile as a regional economic powerhouse and a strategic gateway to African markets.
The WCF Africa Summit 2025 is expected to draw over 4,500 delegates from more than 70 countries, including:
- Heads of chambers of commerce
- Government policymakers
- Global and regional investors
- Private sector CEOs and innovators
“This is a vote of confidence in Kenya’s position as a regional economic powerhouse and a gateway to Africa,”
said KNCCI President Dr. Erick Rutto.
The event will advance key priorities of the African Continental Free Trade Area (AfCFTA), including intra-African trade, innovation, and public-private partnerships.
The World Chambers Federation is the global arm of the International Chamber of Commerce (ICC). It brings together chambers of commerce from around the world to promote trade facilitation, business cooperation, and policy dialogue.
This summit marks the first time in history that the WCF will hold its continental event in Africa.
Themed “Africa’s Global Future: Integrated, Innovative, and Sustainable,” the summit aims to drive the next phase of African economic transformation through:
- Digital trade and e-commerce
- Growth and financing of SMEs
- Green finance and ESG-aligned investment
- Policy harmonization across African markets
Breakout sessions will cover critical topics such as cross-border e-commerce, sustainable supply chains, and investment climate reforms.

said Rebecca Miano, Cabinet Secretary for Investments, Trade, and Industry.
She added that it will boost trade flows and aligns perfectly with President William Ruto’s Bottom-Up Economic Transformation Agenda (BETA), which seeks to enhance inclusive economic development across sectors.
